Contact the relevant committee chair for more information on how you can get involved in the activities of the chapter. Also, check out the calendar for meetings or events to attend.
Project Coordination Committee:
-Responsible for selecting projects
-Appoint project managers to coordinate each project
-Coordinate with project team(s) to provide resources
Fundraising Committee:
-Spearhead fundraising activities to support the general operation of the chapter
-Organize fundraising programs for the implementation of specific projects
-Develop and manage corporate sponsorships
-Investigate and apply for public and private grants
Communications Committee:
-Coordinate publications to be presented to the public
-Create and maintain website
University Relations Committee:
-Coordinate with student chapters in our area
-Provide professional mentorship/consulting for student chapter projects
-Promote interaction between the various student chapters
Membership Committee:
-Answer questions from prospective members and assist in their joining
-Develop and implement member recruiting and retention strategy
Community Outreach Committee:
-Develop community outreach programs in support of EWB's mission, including K-12 programs
-Serve as emissaries of EWB, demonstrating the role of science and engineering professionals in social action
